Continental Math League Practice
450+ authentic CML-style problems with full answer keys — organized by grade band to match real competition difficulty.
What is the Continental Math League (CML)?
The Continental Math League is a nationally recognized mathematics competition that runs from October through March. Students complete timed meets — each with 6 questions answered in 30 minutes — that emphasize multi-step reasoning, creative problem solving, and mathematical communication.
CML competitions are organized by grade division. Students participate at their own school and results contribute toward individual and team awards at the end of the season.
Grades 2 – 3
100 problems covering arithmetic, coin puzzles, custom operations, digit patterns, and logical reasoning — matched to actual CML Grades 2–3 difficulty.
Grades 4 – 6
350+ problems across three sets: standard practice (250 questions), advanced part 1, and advanced part 2. Covers number theory, geometry, fractions, rates, and logic.
Grades 7 – 9
Grade-specific question banks for Grades 7, 8, and 9 covering algebra, coordinate geometry, probability, and advanced number theory at contest level.
Authentic CML Style
Every question is designed to mirror the multi-step reasoning, question types, and difficulty levels found in real Continental Math League meets.
Full Answer Keys
Every practice set includes complete answer keys. Advanced sets include step-by-step solution explanations to build deep understanding.
